Press ON/OFF Dial 74 Enter code Press ON/OFF Station will be unlocked
You must know what the code was that was entered to lock it.

Try this at the ATTEN station Press ON/OFF Press CONF Dial #8 Dial the station number Try and enter a new 4 digit code Press HOLD (see if STORE XXXX where XXXX is the new code comes up on the display) Press the ON/OFF
If it let you enter a new code for that set use it to unlock.

Thanks - The Attendant shows that the code was stored but, the handset still has restricted on the display. Am I doing the correct procedure or is there another procedure for restricting certain calls?
Thanks

Perhaps we have a terminology problem here. Is it possible your set is not "locked" but rather simply restricted from diling out? I'm no Panasonic man, so can't help ya with the particulars but sounds like you may have a Class of Service issue, not a set being locked. Guys, how can he tell if his set is "locked" as opposed to being restrcited?

It looks as though the lockout codes on the system works. I tried to lock and unlock another handset and I was successful. This handset has been "Restricted". According to the manual I would need the unit to be tollrestriction #9. I am unsure of how to reprogram for this??

Ok, lets start from square 1. What happens when you press a line to call out? Is it perhaps set up for dialing 9 to get out. let me know exactly what is happening. You say the handset doesn't work, what if you use the speaker phone. You can check the Extension COS of a station that works and then give that station the same COS
To do this you would: At the ATTEN. ON/OFF PROG ## Press desired FF Key(in your case FF3) FF3 ( 1-24 for port number)# 35# (0-8 for COS) ON/OFF to end programming
