On a KX-T61610 the *only* way to light the msg light is from another proprietary phone (mere single lines can't even do it)

My dial tone hooks to line 1 on my AVAYA partner 308 w/voice mail, my ext 10 of the Avaya goes to my line 1 of my Panasonic 616. Messages are left in the Avaya and I want a way to notify an Ext. on the Panasonic.

Any thoughts??

The KX-T 61610 doesn't support the message waiting lamp.
