Just got a 1232 installed and they used a TVP50 instead of the newer TVS50. Are there significant differences? If so what? Should I be a. extremely bent out of shape, b. somewhat bent out of shape, c. thankful?

I believe the TVP was outside the USA and the TVS was limited to the USA.
If it meets your requirements then "C"
although it's a small unit for a TD1232.
