Hello i need assitance installing a door phone adapter model kx-Td161. This door phone adapter will be integrated to the 1232d4 Phone System. My question is that if there will be any incompatibility between the door phone adapter the ksu version i am integrating it with.

I have already atempted installing two different adapters to the phone system thinking that maybe the first was DOA but the second didnt work aswell. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to why the adapter isnt working with the phone system??

JZ, the KX-TD161 is cpmpatable with version 5 and later KX-TD1232 controls.
If you have a version 4 then you need the
KX-TD 160 card and your limited to only 2 doorphones

Mr. Gemini is correct. You need a KX-TD160 which is no longer made. Expect to pay the about same price as a new TD161 if you can find one.
