Dear All,
I have a Panasonic KX-T7431 setup on a KX-TD816 as extension 103. There are a total of 4 CO lines. I have a panasonic single line cordless phone connected to the XDP port of the Panasonic KX-T7431.
If I were to get a call on any of the CO line, how do I pick up the specific CO line call with the single line cordless phone?
Is there a way to select which CO line I would like to access to make a call through the single line cordless phone?
How do I transfer the call from the Panasonic KX-T7431 to the single line cordless phone?
I can't seem to find the answers to these questions through any of my manuals. Problem is none of my manuals tell me what buttons to push on the single line cordless phone to get access to extra features on my digital phone setup.
Thanks for everyones help,
Johnny

If you want the SLT or cordless to be a seperate extension then make sure the XDP is on in field 600 for that port. Then you could transfer the call to that extension from any other extension. You would have to set up your out going CO and ringing assignments for that extension the same as any other. To access a specific CO line you would have to make sure that it's in it's own trunk group and then just dial 8 and the trunk group #. It sounds like what your looking for may be a parallel connect. Then you could switch back and forth from your proprietary set and the cordless simply by picking the other one up. You would have to activate the parallel connect though to have it ring. You can do this from the proprietary set by pressing intercom 391. That way the cordless will emulate the proprietary set. If you go off hook on a CO you would have to use the flash key on the cordless to get intercom dialtone or change the proprietary set to go off hook on intercom. What happened to the original installation company and the manuals that came with the system. If you don't have them and your going to work on the system yourself it would be wise to invest in a new set.
