Hello Everybody,
I have a quick question. what do I have to do to turn off the MWL manually??
I have a TVS50 with a TA824

Assuming it's the same as the 624 you would :
from any phone, intercom 702, then dial the Ext. with the MWL lit then press #

Thanks for your help again, it's very nice to know that this forum works.. unlike some others I have tried.

I'm using an 824 and that doesn't work. It gives me a message saying "Not Valid"

Another thing I noticed is that the three stations that keep the lights on are the only three stations that ring when an incoming call is received. They ring for 10s and then the VPS answers after 15s.

Any new sugestions?

Did you try going on intercom and pressing the MWL and see where it calls?
If it calls another extension then answer the phone and it should clear.
By any chance did you change the voice mail port assignments after there were messages left?

Try this from the useer manual.
On the phone that has the M/W lamp on.
Press Intercom
Dial 700#
That should cancel all messages left at that extension.
Let me know if it does not work.
