I'm using a 1232 system and whenever I attempt to access the stored numbers via AUTO DIAL, I must wait about 8-10 seconds from going off-hook until the Speed Dial # will be recognized. This happens on all of my handsets which are 3 different models. I assume there's a setting in the software. Can someone help me locate it please?

Thanks...

Wayne

What version, the plder ones are 2 digit and hold up to 100 and the newer versions are 3 digit and go up to 500 numbers.
Can we assume your pressing the speaker phone, auto dial and the 3 digit bin number?
If it wasn't entered as "secret" then you should see the number come up on a display set.
It's not led by a series of *** is it?

The number does dial and it's visible, however, I must wait about 8 seconds after going off hook before the AUTO DIAL will work. When I first go off hook (on a 7030 for example), the display says CO 01 and after 8-10 seconds, the timed display begins and that's when I can successfully use the Speed Dial. The other handsets have similar results.

Thanks...

Make sure your dial mode in program 402 is set for DTMF.
If your not using ARS, make sure it's turned off in program 312.

I was able to find that ARS was off when opening up the software package. I'm not sure how to find 402. Can you direct me on how to navigate there through the program software?

Thanks very much for your assistance...
