dont know if you tried this when Gem asked you to But ...have you chked to see if the line button you are pushing is programmed as line 3 (co3 )
on a faulty phone
1. press prog
2. 99
3. press the line button you think is co 3
display should say CO3
if not
dial 0
dial 03
press autodial/store

ok I am guessing that a coupe things are actually happening. this is what we think. some staiotns are locked out from dialing, we checked and just wanted to confirm how do we disable this option on individual ext. also it still does display "co not assigned" that is assigned in 604/605 ans it does say enabled. also CO3 can be dialed out from other ext; so we do know it does work. also we do NOT wish to default the panel, because if we can not get it working correctly for some reason, it simply is not worth a free system for our client. also the wiring has been check and found to be correct. we also tried other hs and plugged directly into the pbx. thanks for your time and input.

Have you tried to default the station that is acting up?
Program mode, Program - 99 - # - Store
Another long shot but worth trying.
Do the job right the first time.
