Need help in setting up cid on the 1232 ver.3.
I tested to see if I was getting cid from the phone company and I am, I put the unit in the first position, enabled cid(406) on the first 4 lines and I'm still not getting any info on the display on incoming calls. Is there any other programming that should be done?HELP!!!

I hope you put the card in the lower slot?

Make sure that there aren't any solid-state protector units on the lines or LED in-use bridging clips. They squeeze out the CID information for some reason.

I'm kind of having this same problem. The response from sncsnc makes me wonder, which slot does the card go into for Caller ID on the first four COs?

Thanks for the response. Sounds like that is my problem. I've got the CID card in the top set of connections. That would make sense the bottom set controls 1-4 and the top 5-8.

Thanks again sncsnc, moving the CID card to the bottom position worked.
