hey guys,,,, Im tried so hard to install a BV for a customer, but I want to configure a BV to get messages for CO incoming calls, but all the time the I tried to assing Disa or BV on 414, the fone Do not ring and go to the OGM, how can I do to make a phone ring first before go to OGM and the caller only leave a message when nobody is avalable...
kx-Ta824 with BV card...
when call from intercom will work, rings about 5 times and go to voicemail, but from CO do not ring and go to voice mail,,,,

the only thing I want is to the BV CARD work as a answer machine when no answer, or no one is avaleable... whe I set for DISA or BV, the phone does not ring first.... Why...

I Have No clue What I am doing wrong, maybe it is the card itself!!! do I need A disa card too?
Im so confuse now.....

This is how I did it for a picky customer
I took a dummy ext and gave it a max ring delay
and then I looped it over to an unused line port
and did line mode to BV

so you assigned a max ring delay and cfw to the unused port which was set to go right to BV?

no I took a slt gave it a max
delay and connected it to line 5 and set its
line mode to DISA. I also took another unused slt ext with no ringing assignments and connected it to line 6 and set
it to modem so I could backdoor the system
after hours or on a intercept for programing
without human intervention..by dialing 9 that
was pointed at dummy ext for programing

SNC - how about if you only have the basic system config of 3 CO's and they are all being used? Can't do the workaround can you?
