one of my customers asked about a phone system for his motel and i was wondering if anyone knows of a good inexpensive system that will handle about 6 lines and 35 phones? while programming the kxtd 816 &1232 i have run across a feature that says hotel application. does anyone know how this works. any insight would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Yes, it is the Panasonic KX-TDA50. It's their latest and greatest, but only available through certified dealers. It does offer most features desired by small hotel/motels. Even the older KX-TD systems had a pretty strong H/M feature set.

You could get 24 single line and 8 digital ports with TDA 50. Minus 2 digital for VM. There are other ports (DXDP) but hard to use. May have to go to TDA 100.
