I am installing a TVA 50 on a KXTA 824 and I can't get the VM port/extension to answer. I get a busy when I dial either 107 or 108.

I need to know what to check to complete the integration and get the systems to talk to each other. Please give specific program info for either VM or PBX system.

I programmed the TVA50 using the console and everything looks right except something called service group which shows group 1 as having ports 1-6 only. Do I need to setup a separate group for 7 - 8 ? If so, how do I do that?

Thanks.

Telman, did you go into the TA824 in field 130 and enable ports 7 & 8 ?
Are you using 2 pair line cords?
Dou you have the proper system selected in the TVA and is it in APITS mode?
