Hi, I am trying to setup UCD group with call queuing without the Message Card. I want to be able to get calls into a UCD group, and get into a queue with only music-on-hold and overflow after a wait time. I have setup the group, with TimeTable1 for the queuing. When the extensions in UCD are busy, the next call just rings and rings. Am I missing something here? Once again, there is no Message Card and OGM, but i should at least be able to get calls into the queue and wait in queue till the agent is available or overflow.
This is on TDA50 , the latest version.
Thanks for any suggestions.

KXTguy, what are you using to answer the calls? You need some sort of auto attendant. MrG

the call queing was designed around the ogm card like mr g said you'd have to have some sort of auto attendant or rad answering the call.... its like trying to pull the cart with out a horse

I am sure I have tried it without the OGM card on the earlier TDAVersions. Calls Ring Directly to the Logged-in Phone Set of the UCD group. If a logged-in phone is busy ,the call need to follow the queue timetable where i have "Wait 80s " setup.
I dont need an Outgoing Message just to say "please hold". ITs OK to just have Music on Hold.
Mr.G is suggesting that this wont work unless i have calls going into the AA and then transferred to this group for the Call Queueing. Is that correct?

The queue time table is normaly used for the message card. The call has to be answered for the queueing time table to kick in.You can have log in to standard groups and use no answer to overflow and call waiting to keep the phone ringing in group until no answer timer kicks in.

"I dont need an Outgoing Message just to say "please hold". ITs OK to just have Music on Hold' How do you expect the call to go on hold if it isn't answered 1st. The way it is currently set up, it's doing what it should, ringing until a group member is available. This isn't proprietary to Panasonic, it's all systems. MrG

You won't be able to do it period unless you have control of the call. MrGemini is right on the money.
