I wanted to change what should be prompt #1 in the "Custom Service Menu", which should be the first message the incoming caller hears, but the message that is played does not even show up in the prompt list to allow me to change or edit. How can I change or get rid of that announcement if it is not even in the prompt list? I was hoping that reinitialization was a last option. Thanks! KX-TA624/KX-TVS50

JGS,  Go into the TVS with a laptop and see what is actually assigned to play for each port. That will tell you what your dealing with. Don't confuse prompts with greetings. -------------- MrG

What is it playing?. the older 50's did not have company greetings and you have to modify the welcome to the voice prossing system prompt and turn off the good morning, afternoon, evening prompts.

I used to have the customer record over
"welcome to the voice processing system" with
"you have reached company X" and then
I would have good morning,good afternoon, and
good evening in their own voice and re-record "please wait a moment with" Your call is being transfered please hold" it all knited together with a customdialing menu better then the short pauses caused by turning of the prompts...
