I would like to take an incoming call processed by a Custom Service and transfer that call to an outside number using the phone company's Centrex transfer feature. I was assuming I could use the Custom Service "Trf to Out" option but I can't find any detailed instructions in any of the manuals for the string necessary. Allowable characters are numbers, *, #, T, "," and ";". Any help would be appreciated.

You have to duplicate the string that you would dial using an actual phone (Flash 9 and the number). You'll also need to use EFA.

Thanks Kevin. One problem is that the documentation doesn't tell you what character to use as the Flash Hook in the "Trf to Out" option. Any ideas? Thanks. Dale

Dale, F = flash. It's to much to go into here but the procedure is detailed fairly well starting on page 178 of the programming manual. Once connected with the laptop, I believe from the top it's 2.5.4.8 to get you where you need to be. You will probably need a pause or 2 and maybe a disconnect after it starts ringing the number. It does work well. ---------------- MrG
