I have tried to program my KXTVA50. When I use ver 2 of the software the software closes out itself after I type in the installer code. On ver 1 everything goes fine until I connect, it errors back that it cant read the tables near the very end. I need some help. I thought maybe I dont have it in the correct mode position. :bang:

NoWatkins, You need to find out exactly what the current version of your TVA50 is. If it's a 1.1 then upgrade to the version 2 You will need the same version programming software as the TVA. If that doesn't do it then I would default the TVA and also reinstall the programming software and start clean. ------------------- MrG

I tried. I'm not quite sure which version I have. I get the cannot read administration tables error. I saw in another topic that its caused by a system and software mismatch. Is there any way to find out which version is on the tva50. This is a used system that had no software with it. I got version 2 and version 1 from the internet. Are there any other versions out there? :bang:

If you have V2 Maint Console it will connect to V1 voice mail. V1 Maint Console will not read V2 voice mail. You should have V1 on your PC then Install V2

When it closes, wait and it should go to V1. If not you may need to uninstall all and reinstall v1 then V2. "got version 2 and version 1 from the internet." From Panasonic Web site or other???

did you 1st default the system? Dip switches 1 and 3 on, reset the system and wait. Then put all the dip switches to 0, turn the system off and on again and try that. --------------------- MrG
