Until today, I've never tried to put a 412/614 phone on a VA-824.
I have now. They don't work I was able to get CO buttons to light, but that was it. No call functionality whatsoever.
IIRC, The VA412/614 was disconinued in 1988, replaced with VA309/824/1232 which only lasted a year or two before being replaced by the VB (DBS) systems.
