When expanding, is it required to add the 3x8 card, or can I just add the 0X8 card if my requirement is only station ports?

you can add either one, just remember the extension #'s will go 1-16 with the 3x8 card or 1-8,17-24 with the 0x8 card. good to remember when programming dss buttons or ringing.

Here in the states the 0x8 is a full proprietary station card.

From all I read, all 24 ports are Hybrid ports. Guess you UK guys get differing configurations.

There seems to be a lot of differences on the analouge systems, the kxtda seems much the same though. Our range is 15-30-100-200, is that the same.

even the new kxtes 824 has 16 hybrid ports and the 17-24 are slt, dont know why, 24 key sets would be much better

I could not scoop a 3x8 expansion, but was able to find a 624 with a 6x16 setup in it for about the same price. Hopefully, the caller-ID cards are in place.

Anyone have a requirement for a 3x8 KX-TA624?
The deal will be good.
