I dunno, most landfills do NOT want lead acid batteries. The ideal situation is to find a battery plant that has an adjacent recovery operation. You might try checking with Exide. The only reason I mention them is they had a plant in Salina, KS, and the locals wouldn't let them build a recovery plant. They built it someplace. John C. (Not Garand)
