Hello. I've inherited a client with a DBS System (72 port cabinet with a 40 port expansion cabinet). I know little about this system but I've figured out most of what I need to know. What I want to know is: Are the extension numbers fixed to the port numbers - or does it just look that way?
The system is configured for 3 digit extensions now, and I want to renumber a few ports to 201, 202, 203, etc.
I can't determine how to do this if it can be done, and I'd really appreciate any suggestions or pointers.

Well, I THINK I figured out getting into programming...
I think I mis-interpreted the manual then from what you've said. Here's the manual:
FF3(l-144)#1 #(10-69,100-699 or NlOO-N699)#
From what you're telling me, the first part (1-144) is the port number I want to change then the last part (100-699) is the extension I want it to be?
So to change port 13 to Ext #201 I'd do:
FF3 13#1#201#
Does that seem right? I appreciate your help.
