Hello.
I've inherited a client with a DBS System (72 port cabinet with a 40 port expansion cabinet). I know little about this system but I've figured out most of what I need to know.
What I want to know is: Are the extension numbers fixed to the port numbers - or does it just look that way?

The system is configured for 3 digit extensions now, and I want to renumber a few ports to 201, 202, 203, etc.

I can't determine how to do this if it can be done, and I'd really appreciate any suggestions or pointers.

Thanks,
Talbot

Have you figgered out how to get into programming yet?

EXT numbers can be anywhere from 100 to 699

Change in ff3- it's the 2nd or 3rd option.

Well, I THINK I figured out getting into programming...

I think I mis-interpreted the manual then from what you've said. Here's the manual:

FF3(l-144)#1 #(10-69,100-699 or NlOO-N699)#

From what you're telling me, the first part (1-144) is the port number I want to change then the last part (100-699) is the extension I want it to be?

So to change port 13 to Ext #201 I'd do:

FF3 13#1#201#

Does that seem right? I appreciate your help.
