Hi!
I noticed that when new messages are played, there are no promts after them (to delete press 3, to next press whatever) Nothing, just silence, then next message is played. When all messages are played, it just exits one step out and say, "To receive a message press one, to send a message press 2, etc)
What could be the problem?
When I listenn to old messages, all promts are there.

is message scanning enabled in cos settings?

Message Scanning? I do not see that option in COS, and nowhere else for that matter. Is there that option in TVA-50?

nope nothing with the word "scanning."
Strange... Is it even normal? I tried leaving a few messages, then checking it. It does not give you any options after each message. Just goes to next after reading the day time, phone number.

HOORAY! I figured t on my own! I had AUTOPLAY NEW MESSAGES enabled, and that feature disables prmpts... whew. Thank god it was documened in the manual. I thought I was gonna have a fit thinking that the VM has broken  Again, thanks so much to all who replied for your suggestions. Paul
