Hello,
Im would like to offer a client a way to reduce their call costs.
Is it possible to connect the KX-TDA 100 to a vonage trunk?
If so, what hardware would be required?
Thanks Dan

Vonage lines are not brand specific. If you would like to come off the Vonage router and plug it into a CO port of a system rather then an SLT phone, go ahead. Some typical problems are with disconnect supervision and CID. ---------------------- MrG

Mr G, Panasonic has a sip gateway card out now.( don't know if it is in the USA) I have one fitted to my kxtda 15. it gives 4 channels with option of adding 4 more. I am connected to blueface sip provider. I get caller id with name and works great.

So calls can be routed out of the KX-TDA through an analogue port into the vonage router?
Thanks Dan

Ken, yes, I am aware of the SIP cards. With the SPE16 we can down load an 18 channel activation key. I haven't personally used any of this but it is available.
Whoops, you must be one of the lucky ones. Usually those problems only surface when the calls are directly answered by or routed through an A/A. ------------------------ MrG

Whoops, it is only out here, I just got mine 2 weeks ago.
as for the co port to router, you would need a VOIP phone adaptor, something like the linksys pap2, unless the vonage router has one built in.
