I have a new (refurbished) kx-t7880 which seems to work, but the volume on the microphone is very low. Said another way, the person on the other end of the connection can barely hear the person using the kx-t7880. I don't see any control or configuration that adjusts this - is there something on the unit or the switch?
or is my unit just defective?
I saw another thread in this forum that says to use the "buttons on the side", but there are no such buttons on this unit.
Thanks...Mike

Was it bad from the refurbish house that you purchased it from? If so they should send you another unit for a replacement.

Mike, I would check the port with another set just to rule that out. As for the cordless 7880, there isn't any adjustment for the mic, only for the incomming volume and ringing. You can get the operating manual here ------------------------- MrG

Thanks for the replies - I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious. I will contact the seller.
