I have a customer with a TVA50 connected to TDA50. I had him record the cutom service promt using Pc admin. When testing the system it plays an good afternoon system greeting. Then it plays recorded sevice prompt we made. They don't want the canned greeting to play, just the recorded service prompt. Thanks for any help.

Do you have a Company Greeting set up as well as the Custom Service Menu? I have never had one of these play that prompt and I always use a Company Greeting. Try recording a Company Gretting (i.e. Thank you for calling ABC Company..) and then in Port/Trunk Service set the Day/Night/Lunch/Break mode to point to the company greeting you recorded.

I believe in the TVA50 you can set the company greeting to "none" -------------------------- MrG

Default is "None" which is what I think is making it play the morning/afternoon/evening greeting.
Not sure since I've always used a company greeting.

I think I changed thr company greeting to greeting 1 by mistake. I will try to change it to none. Can I use the PC admin or do I have to use telset admin?

Expand the tree and you will see the settings
