Hello again,
I am trying to set a flexible button for one touch paging (*3301). It works fine when speakerphone is used, but when the handset is picked up, it defaults to the idle line, as it should.
Is there a way I can program "Int*3301"?
If I try it as a DSS number, it won't accept a "*"
If I try it as a One-Touch, it won't accept an "Int","I", or anything relating to "Intercom"
I have the customer accepting the "Press PAGE, then pick up handset" method for now, at the risk of occasional feedback.
Thanks,
Mike
Yes, I am retired - so why am I still working on phones?

If idle line preference is enabled, then you're stuck.

if you use hot line instead of idle line you could have a second or 2 delay before they dial external number giving them time to press a one touch button to page. only drawback is they have to wait a second or 2 before dialing out.
They can't have everything.....
