Looking for some information on a cordless phone compatible to base KX-T7885.
All I got is the base.
Can a replacement cordless be purchased?
If yes what is the part number?
If you sell one PM the cost.
Thank you in advance.

Only the KX-T7885 handset will work with this base. I would imagine anyone selling this unit would only sell acomplete set (including a new base). Especially since this model is discontinued.

Hi

I am from India looking to buy 5.8 GHz Panasonic cordless telephone from USA.

Will it work in my country without any alteration?

Thanks
Manish

Unless commercial power available in India is 120V 60Hz AC, a cordless telephone manufactured for the North American market will not work.

My sources suggest that India is primarily 230/50.

If the specific phone you choose has a power adapter that will accept that power, *and* if your phone line is a typical -48VDC/20VAC ring POTS line, then you might get away with it -- though it may violate regulations to use the RF section of the phone in India.

If the power doesn't work, you might be able to get plug and voltage adapters. Some 60Hz adapters will tolerate 50Hz, some won't.

Touch-tones might be an issue too.
