I have a KX-TD1232 with all KX-T7433 stations. My outside lines (20 lines) are all Centrex analog, CO-01 is the console. I am trying to get CO-20 (Jack 38 Ext 138) to ring on inbound calls at CO-03's station (Jack 4 Ext 104) too. CO-20 lights up on an inbound call & it can be answered from the station (Jack 4 Ext 104) just no ring. I checked the CO-20 ring type on station 104, it is set to 6. So how do I make CO-20 ring at two different stations, Ext 104 & Ext 138? :bang: :bang: :bang:

Don, since you mentioned that the system is in a Centrex environment, how are the CO lines set up? If they are set up as DIL 1:1, then they will do what you are describing - ringing/flashing at only one station and lit solid at others with the line appearance. DIL 1:1 is a glorified way of describing a private line.

If you change CO 20 to a DIL 1:N, then you can have it ring/flash and appear at multiple stations. It will depend upon your system's software version to determine how unanswered calls will be handled unless you are using central office based voice mail on the Centrex lines.

Sir,
You asked "how are the CO lines set up?" Do you mean from the AT&T switch or in the KX-TD1232? I did a system dump to hyperterminal & reviewed features in the 400 & 600 range (don't recall specific ie 603/604). Every entry is the same either no ring or immediate alternating by port/ext (1.1, 2.1, 3.1 all immediate where 1.2, 2.2, 3.2 all no ring). This confuses me because CO 10 rings @ ext 11 & 17 correctly. How can I look at CO 10's setup for ringing at 2 different extensions?

I was referring to how they are set up in the KX-TD switch, not the central office. Sorry for the confusion.

Programs 407 and 408 are where the lines are marked as DIL 1:1 (day/night). If the line is marked here, then 603 and 604 programming doesn't work the same way.

The .2 settings are for the ringing assignment of the XDP jack on the phone. Those shouldn't have any bearing upon what you are doing. The .1 settings are what matter with regard to the base phone ringing.

603 is the solution.

Thank you
