Answer the NT136 works, the NT321 dosn't. But why? I have a KX-TDA100 with a IPEXT16 card. I have a NT136 and a NT265 connecteded over the internet which have been working perfectly for over a year. I wanted to get add new NT265 but my supplier told me they are discontinued and the replacement is the NT321. So I get the NT321 and on connection the dislay reads BAD PBX VER. So I upgrade the PABX from 3.2 to Ver 5, Upgrade the IPEXT16 card firmware and software and the phone display shows the time, buttons work but no Audio. My question is does anybody know why the NT136 still works perfectly but the NT321 doesn't. What is the difference?

The kx-nt 321 will work on the ip 16 card, are you using the 321 in the same place as the 265. have you tried to log it on local to the system to see the phone is ok.
the nt 136 will not work on the NCP, but the nt 265 will if upgraded to V2, but the NT 300 series will work on the Kxtda, but only on the latest software

There is a IP-PT compatibility matrix available on the BTS dealer website.

Just to confirm you have a VPN in place and are not trying to get this working over NAT?
