JR, the TVA is a voice mail system.
What is the actual system model?

card.

To go one step further, the system can accomodate 1-OPB card and there are 4 slots on it. Each slot could have its own 0161 card making a total of 16 doorphones, not that anyone might need 16!

Thanks I have a requirement for 6 to be used in elevator application since the company is too cheap to buy lines and monitoring.

Be advised that you need to check local code requirements, and legal responsibilities, concerning door phones as elevator phones. I would be suprised if they will pass code since they are not ADA compliant, and in our area code requires that the call from the elevator goes to an answered phone 24 hours a day.

I totally agree with ICTELCO.

Even if you CAN make it work, doesn't mean it's legal. California is pretty picky about Elevator monitoring. Besides who do you think would get burnt in the lawsuit?
