This forum was a great help 4 years ago when I was in the market for a new voicemail system and in setting up/programming our phones. We have the Panasonic Digital Super Hybrid System (model D1232) with Panasonic KX-T7030 (& 7020) phones.
On my boss' KX-T7030 phone, the message waiting lamp perpetually stays lit. I have scoured the manual and user guides for a way to clear the light. For our purposes, we only want it lit when a new message is waiting. Can you please help?

With the phone idle and on hook press the messsage button and look at the display. Does it show an extension # and name? When you lift the handset or press the speaker button does the dialtone sound different? If so he has a message from a coworker. He can either call their extension and talk for a second and hangup to clear it or he can press the speaker button press 700 and enter his extension and hangup to cancel all waiting messages.

Thanks so much. It worked and his message lamp is no longer lit.

No problem. You would be surprised how many times a month I tell someone to do that.
