When making a call-log button on phones with the ICD group (601)as the extension to be logged, it seems to sometimes not work. It logs some calls but not all. Have you guys noticed this before? If so has the latest software fixed this?

It's my understanding that it should log all answered and unanswered calls that came in to that ICD group on that button. No TVA voice mail installed.

You are not alone on this one. I've seen calls not being logged all the time. Have not investigated it as much as I should have.

It's called the law of NANG, "No Asky, No Getty".

there are 2 settings that can cause this. both under groups

1 groups-group settings-group log -
call log is set to 10 calls for each group. this will over wright the calls in leaving only the last 10.

2 Groups - miscellaneous
icd log answered calls enable /disable.
if you only want missed calls logged, disable this

Check out Section 1.3.3 page 36-38 of the Feature Manual.

Also as OBT said look at 2.9.11 (3-5-3) of the PC Programming Manual.

I'll check that out, but I'm talking about calls not being logged at all.

For example, last time I set this up, to test I called in about five times and only three of the calls were logged.

In my testing with my NCP, calls answered by voicemail will not log, but the others seemed to.

I talked with a Jenne Distributors tech support person and he verified the voicemail answered calls do not log other than if the caller leaves a message. It logs in voicemail, not on the icd group call log button.

I would guess the TDA 50 would be similar.

Yeah i know calls answered by tva will not log, although they should. I'm upgrading an existing system to a v5 for IP card, but the customer brought up the call log issue, hopefully v5 fixed it.
