with the TA824 what are the numbers i hit on the phone to hear the music on hold when i want to check it?

Hi MrG... thanks but i want to know how to check it and i recall there is a way to hear it on the phone as a test. is this the same? if i pick up on intercom and press 1? thanks

I don't know this system, but I'm pretty sure he's talking about background music over the phones speaker.

I found the manual and what Dalavar and MrGemini told you is for the background music if enabled in system programming. Looks like default is disabled.

right. i just want to be able to find how to hear what i am pumping in music on hold (fed from my radio) -- a way to just monitor it to be sure its working from time to time.

Here's an easy way: Place an intercom call from one extension to another, and press hold. The MOH will play just as though it is an outside call.
