Hello, we have Kx-td 1232 that has been working fine for a long time, we have programed several hotkeys on numerous phones, but today, all our phones give us the dreaded triple tone denial when we try to re-assign a key to ring an extension..we follow the standard pgrm 99, buttom, 1, extension number. and without fail..it fails. Please help. ps. its on all phones not just one extension

Check the button programming of the button your trying to use. Pretty sure it has to be either a CO button, a PF button or already a DSS. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes to both of you...all the extension I am trying to change it to is a valid extension and yes the button is a CO line button...I have dont this same procedure hundreds of times, this situation seems odd. Any other ideas?
