I have an old TD816. Calls out just fine. 7 lines connected. When calling in, the line turns red, but nothing rings. I've checked all the programming and can not figure out why the phones will not ring. There was a voicemail system connected at one time, but it is no longer in use.

Update, if I set an extension in 407, the phone indicated will ring. I don't know if this helps.

SOHO, welcome If your familiar with the programming I can point you in the right direction
but I would recommend defaulting the system and starting from scratch.
You have no idea what's in there or how it was set up for the last person who used it.

I am fairly familiar. How do I default the system? I've never done that on this one.

Hi, I need some help. We bought an D-816 and I already did all the programming, I have the manuals and codes. But.. Im not an engeneer, so I did a reset to the system to clear de password, and now the central is working with pulse instead of tones. I looked in all the manual and the internet and I cant find the solution.

Can you help me please?
