Hey all, new user, but old timer since before punch tools were used.

Problem:
What is the general gist on the KXTD to ring all phones and have AA answer in 6 rings?–

Client:
I replaced the KXTD 816; it had a dead power supply. The TVS 50 voice mail was still working.

Desc: My test set up KXTD 1232 w/ TVS 125 voice mail – yes it works software version wise; was pulled from my KY office. Programmed via a laptop and an older copy (mid 1990’s) of the Panasonic Programmer software

How do I reprogram the 816 to operate in a home environment where ALL the phones ring but if not answered in 6 rings the TVS picks up. . A delayed ring… Vmail on my test set up, I can only remember how to make it 100% AA. Program DILN1:1 point to 165 / Jack 15 and the call is pointed to the VMS immediately.

Yes I turned of | mmediate ring for ALL jacks and CO’s in program 602? 406? Called but vmail picks up immediately still. The only way I can get the voice mail to NOT answer is remove the DILN 1;1 for the line.. but then vmail never answers

Do I make a ghost or phantom extension.. give that ghost a delayed ring that goes to an AA.. while continuing to have all co’s ring all the phones ring.

FYI no day or night mode. Just one mode, just one AA greeting. Vmail was working the way they want so it is all in the KXTD 816 programming.

Yes I was certified on this from Panasonic in NJ at some point in my life.

No key sheets from the prior installation and the old 816 is DFW so I can’t copy the programming : (

use intercept on the lines to the tvs50, set intercept timer to 6 rings

Same question -- the intercept/delay works fine, but on the system I'm setting up, they want immediate VM answer at night. They settled for delay day and night, but I still want an answer. Couldn't see any way to do that, but there must be ... 816 w/TVS50

program 408 DIL 1:1 to EXT 165
on all incoming lines!!
