Hi again,
I am trying to show on all phones when there is a voicemail message waiting for one extension, extension 111. When the VoiceGate Voice Wizard gets a message for extension 111, it calls back the KX-TD816 (v1) and lights up the message button LED on that extention 111 phone. I have tried the all sorts of settings in the CO button programming menus of the DOS software for the other phones but without success. Is this possible to accomplish within the '816 v1?
Note that all extensions but the VM ones are in the same extension group (1). VM extensions group is 8.

Hi kxtvet,
Your post prompted me to consult the version/feature list. Indeed you are right, this feature was introduced in v4 of the KX-TD816.
Thanks.
Bert.

You might get upgrade chips for the 816.

So far it has been an enjoyable experience even if it is a v1 '816. v1 was a big release in terms of features. I would have not purchased a v0 though. For home usage, it is perfectly fine. Just have to forget T7400 series phones. I use T7000 and T7200 series, and plan to buy T7700 series phone if I can find a decent price on eBay.

If you had a late revision 816 you would be enjoying screen pops and all kinds of fun TAPI app's!!
