Hoping To Know If There Are Others Who Are Having This Problem. I Have had All The New Tda50 & TDA30 Exhibit This Funny Problem And From The Error Log ,
It Seems It Pretty Serious.
Here is what happens... I Take A New Tda50 or TDA30 , Install, Setup And Program All The Phones. Now I Hit
The Reset Button Or the Power Button, The System Reboots, But All Phones Are In Idle But Frozen State. The First Two Line Buttons Are Lit Up Solid Red. After About 40-60 Seconds The System Reboots By Itself And This Time Around The Phones Come Up Fine. In Some Cases , The System Kept Rebooting Till I Had To Default Or Initialize It.
The Error Log Has It As A Major Error.
*******Mpr Wdt Overflow********
And The Manual Gives The Following Explanation :
Probable Cause :
MPR card malfunction
• Optional service card
malfunction: CTI-LINK
• Erroneous processing of
MPR card software
• Software error due to external factors
Solution :
• Press the Reset Button • Reprogramme the Hybrid IP-PBX • Replace the MPR card (be sure to turn off the Hybrid IP-PBX when replacing)
The same sytsem will boot up fine if I remove the CO & Caller ID cards, and power up the basic unit.
I have been experiencing this problem for over a year now - initially with the TDA50 and recently with the TDA30.
By the way...it is happening without even connecting the laptop to the system.
Help !!!
I don't give discount, I give service !

Dragging this back up as I'm having the same problem on two tda50 systems. What I've found is that if I unplug all C.O. lines and all phone extensions and then let it reboot, it will come up fine. Then plug everything back in and everything will work. Haven't contacted support about this, but good to know I'm not alone.

Yes, both systems are registered and file is transfered to system. I have a feeling it has something to do with the new 3XX series phones. These two tda50's are the only ones I have installed that have the new phones.

Onemaninterconnect, whatever happened to your system? I am having this problem with a TDA50....and MichaelV, my system has KXT76XX series phones working, so there goes your theory about the 3XX series phones....anyhow, Onemaninterconnect, did you ever get to the bottom of the problem? Sounds like a software issue to me, but I'm interested in hearing what your trouble was isolated to
