Hi,
4x SLTs, 4x PTs, 3x2 expansion. The PTs choose the right outgoing COs set in PT settings, but the SLTs do not, they just grab whatever is available. Do I use Hot Line to set which they should choose? Do I also use that to set them to dial 9 to always drop to the CO when picked-up?

You have choices, if your system is programmed properly. The reason the PITS phones pick the right lines is because the other lines are probably not assigned. You need to tell the system which lines are working, then you can use 81-88 as dial access, use pickup dialing to force a specific line, or just plain dial 9 to get the top available outgoing line.

Perfect, thank you. I programmed some to specific 8x numbers and some I left as 9.
