Don't tell my restauranteurs that 824's are not professional!! It's the perfect box, 2 or 3 lines, 4 phones and a couple of credit card backup machines and they're good to go. Before they open up, the 1-line DISA card answers the calls with info to the caller and lets the caller dial 0 to ring all the phones in the house or hang up.

After they open, they don't need either the DISA or the voice mail. Plus, the dial restriction is a simple 4-digit authcode instead of having to dial 47 and all the other stuff of a TD system. They still bitch at me for the 816 I installed in one store over the 624/824's in all the rest.

The accountant with C.O. VM also likes the DISA for his fax line. In tax season, it works well and in off hours, it just receives the faxes.

That's because you figured out what they want and need and gave it to them. If their needs change you will
give them a decent trade in on an upgrade, no?
It's a great home system too, unless you need cell phones.
With the 7896 it,s the best home system, because of the page ability of the 7896.
Many big house here use the metal like wrap and only cell stations will give coverage but no paging.

Make sure that Room monitor is not turned on as this will cause the light to blink. try a station reset also.
