Hi folks,

It's been a while...

I plan on using cat5e 24AWG cable for my doorphone module. The run is about 75 feet, very short. Manual states 22AWG, so I'm thinking of binding two pairs together. Does this make sense and is this do-able?

Cheers and HNY !!

You'll be fine, used cat5e many times for those door phones. You shouldn't have to twist any pairs together.
