I have a client who wants to setup multiple external paging zones. I know the TDE100 supports two external pagers outta the box... is there a card/module we can install to give it more external pager outputs?

Just use old digital phones at MDF and use speaker leads. You group as many as you want and use system
page groups.

Valcom and trunk or station side zone paging is your friend. How simple is that?

How about 16 DT,s??

Not really, but for 1 or 2 it,s OK and you don't have to change how you page or pickup from such as Park and Page. Neatly wall mounted, handsets removed.
If the functionality fit,s, I'm for it.
Just an option that can be used if you have some DT,s in the phone room.

I like the NEC approach, DT to small box = 2 page ports out that jive with number scheme.

I guess it,s hold a over from 1A2 days: a relay and some wire you can make anything happen.

Hmm go figure. Guess what i thought was right. I remember many years ago I needed to setup a PA zone in a warehouse... didnt have a phone system in the building i was in (we had a 50 pair connecting to buildings, i was in the remote building)... so i took an old phone from the system, removed the speaker and connected it to an amplifier. Worked like a charm. We just seutp that one extension in the paging group basically... so you could page the warehouse.

I guess i can always sell the client the cheapest phones panasonic makes for the system, and then just hookup the speaker to an amp... not IDEAL but hey unless panasonic makes a module card its really all i can do. We can just buy as many phones as we need zones setup.
