i have a td1232-6 w / t1 lines
we have a fax machine connected to a sl port xdp enabled , you can get / make intercom calls from it , however when you try to access an out side line ( 9 or 88 ,reference line set to trunk group 8 ) you get a fast busy ,there is no out going restrictions set , class of service is same for all ports

You need to enable day/night/break/lunch line access for that xdp X-2 jack. Shawn

this is for the kxtd
i have modem access to this system , i went into it last night and double checked all the programs
what is the progam # that you are talking about ?

pgm 605/606 find the x jack in software and put ticks in for access to lines both modes .

that was set from the start , all ports set for un restricted access to the lines

What happens when you try dialing 9 from a non-slt port? Ie: Press INTERCOM if you have to, then dial 9 from a KXT instrument.

if there is a t1 card in this ksu its 88 for T by default!
