Hey All, I've got a dual cab. 1232 that's losing communication between cabinets (intermittently). To solve the problem I have been resetting the cabinets. But I've had to do this several times now and I'm writing to ask if that daughterboard is a common problem. The system is around 12-13 years old and I need to nurse it along awhile longer. I don't even know if can get those boards any longer. Thanks in advance!!

In case you didn't know when you run dual cabinet it is important to have a UPS. Any momentary power outage will cause this. When I re-sync these I always pull the 25pr station cables. You may be able to test the card in programing.

revisions 0 to 3 normaly require removing the cables from both units powering down then power up both units at the same time (waiting about 5 minits to sync up ) units 4 and above are supposed to not need this action , just powering up at the same time . also the 2 units on revisions 0 to 3 must be the same . 4,5,6,7 can be mixed revisions
