Hello

I have a couple of problems and Im sure they are easy fixes but I thought Id ask.

1. My phone system (TA824) is randomly lighting up CO 3 and CO4 for no apparent reason. I dont have anything plugged into these and they seem to turn off after about 30 seconds and then come back on 5 minutes later. Any ideas?

2. The message button does not send the users to the voicemail system (TVA50). When I press it, it shows them 115 and then it hangs up.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

I figured out why co 3 & 4 were lighting up. We had it setup to automatically roll to the next line when 1 and 2 were in use. Once I fixed that it was the end of that smile

Also, did you assign and set up the extension mailboxes?

Hi Ken,

I have the TVA50 setup on ports 15 & 16. On the TVA50 I have setup mailboxes for each extension if that is what you are referring to.

So how did you access the TVA50 when each user set up his or her mailbox? By setting up, I mean greeting, password, etc.

When you use the "message" button, is it illuminated (meaning message in mailbox)? I think you can only use the message button when you have new messages.
