Hi Folks: Our Legion Hall here just purchased the TDA30 and it is attached to the TVM 50 (port 1 on it)
System is running great, pickup groups are set...calls incoming and outgoing are fine.
I have set COS and TRS Tables set to toll-restrict the phones that need it. (I am allowing toll-free services access).
Inter-Office VM works fine.
The outside world cannot get to the VM.
I have used "Custom Service Builder" (graphical)and I have recorded my .wav custom prompt (to the appropriat bit rate and sampling settings) to hand off to the proper extensions at night when the bar closes (as we want a human to answer during regular hours) and am using the timetable in the TVM.
When I leave at night and call from home it's like the system doesn't have the TVM connected.
Looks like the timetable is set in the TDA to handoff to "500" (VM) at 12:30 hrs.
Gotta be a samll setting or card issue?
Any ideas would be appreciated. The system passes diagnostics and I backup the DB regularly on the VM and TDA regularly to PC so messages and prompts won't get lost in case the prince of darkness strikes!

if you set night destination to 500 then the tva will do what ever you have programmed it to do at night!Did you set tva to pbx control?

Nope! I set it to 'Automatic'.
Will it not hand over or does the TDA lead it by the hand only on 'PBX Control'?

I personally like to set tva to pbx control why set 2 time service settings in two areas on a basic day attended night unattended scenario....let ta/taw/tda/tde/ncp control the mode its nice if for some reason you close early kick the system into night and your are out the door!!!

I think it's going to work. I didn't see the timetable! (On maint. console for TDA-side.)
I feel dumb! I am a former Bell Canada line tester that used to work on Meridian exclusively.
First time navigating the menus. To add to that the weekly table was set to default which was 'manual'.
I will hit up a trunk tonight to see if it worked!
It is now set for 'PBX Control' for reason You mentioned.

Hmm, maintenance console reminds me of AVAYA control console for Definity and Intuity when I used to control a switch at our old workplace. (Blue side-screen and all...)LOL
