Question: If i have a tva 50 or a 200 and forget to mess with the dip switches on the side, Will i loose all of the info i have programmed into it as soon as it loses power. (This is a newer unit.)

No, out of the factory the dip switches are set to normal mode.

92astro is correct. But when you get a new TVA you have to initalize it via dip switches by powering down put the switches in the initalize position then power up. After the initalizing, power down again and move the switches back to the factory default and power up. If you leave the switches in initalize and lose power you will lose all programming.

If this an up and running TVA that has been installed already don't worry about the switches.

Look in the install manual, it tells you how the dip switches should be for normal mode, initialize etc...
But I wouldn't worry about it too much.

if you left any switches on, the run light would be flashing to a sequence for that combo
