My wife's school was given this old system that was taken out of an old site. However there are no installation instructions with it. Can anyone provide a copy of the installation manual and any notes that my be used in the setup the this system.

The 816 is a 3pair system, They use 4x8 cards, The programming is done with a 816 programmer (it looks like a DSS).On the phone side hook up the jack following the color code, on the system side swap all three pairs then use standard 3pair line cords into the system boards and phones.
You program the by plugging the program unit into port 21 and set the program switch to write, when finised set the switch back to prtct.
