I am unable to change the time on our phone for our particular telephone. It is a older phone system but I was unable to program the time change from the instructions that you already have posted. Can someone help me? :0)

You have to program the system from a set that has been assigned as the Time Changing set in programming, the only way to find out is to fire up the program and see what DN is assigned for it. It's usually the Recpt. Did you try the instructions at https://www.tel-programmer.com/system_time_setting.htm If you can get into the programming you can also set the time with the PC/Laptop under System Utilities Menu option 4. It will bring up the time, date, year. Match it exactly with the new info and press enter, when you are done type exit to return to main menu. You need the software loaded on your PC/Laptop and you will need a program cable.
You say it's an electronic telephone system but you don't say if it's a digital or Keybx. If it's a Keybx you use the DSS/Programmer to see.

By Electronic my guess you have a 2464 or 816 the time set station on both of these are ext 20 (and one other that is programable). You have to do date and time and you need to use 24 hr time (3pm = 1500). # (Time) date (0408) hr min (Time)

Exactly he may be trying to use the wrong procedure. This has the digital and the 2464,816 procedures on it: https://www.tel-programmer.com/system_time_setting.htm
