I have my Telrad 400 (7.12 software) hooked up to another phone system using a PRI connection. Each line is setup as DID. Can I get it where the telrad will send the extension of the person calling out as the caller ID so the other system will know who is calling?

I dont know if the 7.1 has CID emergency you may need to chip the memory cartridge. But you can send the ext as ID.

This would be one of those changes you would need to get in contact with someone by phone to walk you though the programming or have a Tech do the programming for you. Also you would have to take the system out of service to install the upgrade.

I meant how do I send the extension as the CID? I do not wish to upgrade my phone system software at this time. Your previous message seems to indicate that I can send the extensin as the CID without a software upgrade.

Just a chip upgrade to give you this feature your not replacing anything but chips on the memory cartridge and maybe MPD.

I am having the same problem I think. Are you tring to display the 10 digit ANI of the Ext. placing the call? I have 1 switch that it is working on and 1 switch that I can not get it to work. The switch it works on is older. I saw the tech program it and he put the NPA/NXX ( Area Code and Prefix ) in one spot and the last 4 digits in the Station Features section. I can not find the spot for the NPA/NXX to go in. Any thoughts?
