Does anyone have experience with upgrading from version 6 to version 7 or 8? If so, is the additional functionality worth the effort? Are you using an ACD system and did you have to upgrade it also?

If you are going to up date you will need to update the chips on all of your cards as well, if you are going to 8 then it's a whole new ball game. Is there a special reason you want to update?

As a tech the upgrade to E2E-1 or the latest E2E-2 is the best thing going. The programming is faster and easier. The New Emagen voicemail is all that and a bag of chips. As far as 6 to 7 to e2e 7 gave us Avanti single pair phones and e2e the IP phones. I just upgraded a customer from 7.36 to e2e2 with the new snapmail and it took 27 seconds to do the upgrade. And the new features are way beyond anything else I mess with.
